2/8/23 - Capt. Travis Sparks

Capt. Travis Sparks of Fish Tales Charters reports that specs are still thick in the Upper Pamlico.

With water temps in the low 50’s, Travis was able to successfully target fish in 3’ - 5’ of water, using both hard baits and soft plastics. He reports that most fish were holding near the bank and tight to structure. Using smaller profile baits like Salty Bay Dazzle Shad, he caught fish from dusk until dawn. After catching a quick limit, he used the rest of the day to explore and catch lots of quality fish.
