8/4/19 - Braggin Right Charters

OFFSHORE /NEARSHORE - John Foss with Braggin Rights Charters reports that the WAHOO Bite is HEATING UP early, there are plenty of 5-6 fish days with BIG-UNS in the mix. Black Fin are biting well and few Yellow Fin are being caught. Of course with the warmer water the Spanish Bite is on fire nearshore and a few Snake Kings are in the mix. You can find john and his crew across the Atlantic Beach bridge on the right and on FACEBOOK at https://www.facebook.com/bragginrightscharters/

The warmer weather has brought some smaller Mahi closer to shore but spread them out and made them harder to find. Hot colors are Purple, Blue, and Pink!

Smoker Kings are still around and smaller Snakes are nearshore at the reefs. With the low availability of Cigar Minnow to fish on Big Nics, Blue Water Candy Wedgies, and local Pirate Plugs - many anglers are turning to Northern Mackerel, Spanish Sardines, and “Chigger” or smaller BALLYHOO. Pogys have been hard to find this year!!

Spanish continue to hit Clarks and Yozuri Trolling Baits, we have also had great reports on the Nomads for both Spanish, King, and Wahoo! Down size your tackle if you want a great fight with the smaller Spanish!
