Hey guys, Capt. Ben Ricks of Ricks Brothers Outdoors. The trout bite is happening and fish are in full winter patterns. There are still some redfish around as well but they are becoming a little tougher to target. Look for mullet, menhaden, or other bait to find fish. There are fish from New Bern to the Pamlico Sound so there are no bad choices. Baitfish imitating lures like soft plastics on a jig or twitch baits have been the best choice for many. If I can help you please give me a call (252) 333-9332.
