Travis Sparks 10/16/23

Hey everyone,  Captain Travis Sparks here from Fish T.A.L.E.S Charters.  The past several weeks we've had some cooler weather pushing in.  This has dropped the water temperature down into the upper 60's in most places and the trout bite has really fired off.  Trout have been pretty aggressive and can be caught in a variety of different ways,  from throwing Mansfield Knockers for top water,  Rapala Shadow Rap's a few feet below the surface,  to bouncing Slick Jr's on the bottom.  When fishing,  don't be scared to head up the river or to the backs of your favorite creeks because I have found trout everywhere in the past 2 weeks.  Lots of drum are still in the river and are being caught using the same tactics for the trout.  I've also seen a few schools of Old Drum still hanging around on the main river. I have some days still available for November and would love to get you on the water (919) 222-7140. Be safe out there and tight lines!
