Hey guys, Capt. Ben Ricks of Ricks Brothers Outdoors. The redfish action is steady and with more old drum showing up every day the summer dog days are full of action. The key is covering ground to find areas with bait.  Look for menhaden, mullet, or shrimp. There are fish from New Bern to the Pamlico Sound so there are no bad choices. Shrimp or baitfish imitating lures have been great options especially under a popping cork. Tarpon are around too so keep a sharp eye out.  If can help you please give me a call (252) 333-9332.
