Twitch Baits are lipless and designed as floating, suspending, or slow-sinking lures designed to mimic wounded and/or darting baitfish in shallow to mid-depth waters. Usually these baits are fished to rapidly by inexperienced anglers. Successful anglers use a twitch-pause technique with the "thump" usually occurring while the bait is at rest. It is important to keep the slack from the line during the pause and realize what depth to strikes and fish are being caught!
